We hope you’re enjoying your school engagement calendar and using it to keep track of all the important dates and events happening throughout the year! We’ve added some exciting new school and community events and wanted to share an updated calendar with you.
The start of a new school year is just around the corner, and we couldn’t be more excited to welcome our students and families back! We’re looking forward to a wonderful year filled with learning, connection, and opportunities for our students to grow and thrive.
Here are some additions:
August 15th- Backpack giveaway at Adams-Reed Funeral Home in Cowen 4:00-6:00
August 19th & 26th- Food handler's class in Camden @ 6:00 (great for those who want to help support Highlander and Little League athletics in the concession).
August 20th- Come cheer on the Highlander high school soccer team at their home opener vs. James Monroe at Webster Springs Elementary School @ 5:30.
August 25th- Highlander Soccer vs. Braxton at Webster Springs Elementary 6:00.
August 27th- Support the Highlanders at either Webster Springs Elementary where the high school soccer team takes on S. Harrison @ 6:00 or travel to Tygarts Valley to support the Highlander golf team @ 4:00.
August 28th- Travel to Richwood to cheer on the Highlander football team as they take on the Lumberjacks in the annual battle for the Wagon Wheel @ 7:30.
August 31st- Come cheer on the Highlanders in the middle school soccer home opener at WSES against Spencer at 6:00.
